Privacy

Your context has an expiration date.

Two ways to build

If you use your own AI, that agent sends structured section suggestions and newsletter items. If you choose managed generation, you explicitly authorize each source, such as Google Calendar, through our connector provider. Access is limited to the newsletter you select and can be revoked.

Managed source data

Connected source content is fetched only for the configured briefing window, minimized before generation, and treated as untrusted input. We do not place provider access tokens in Briefly Yours or expose them in prompts. Raw calendar event payloads are not retained; we keep bounded newsletter content and operational metadata such as source type, fetch time, item count, and status.

AI processing

Managed generation sends the minimized source content and your newsletter instructions to our AI infrastructure to produce structured newsletter content. It is not used for sponsor targeting. We request that model providers do not retain generation inputs where supported.

Payments

Stripe processes managed-plan checkout, subscriptions, advertiser bid authorization holds, captures, and releases. Briefly Yours stores Stripe identifiers and payment state, not full card numbers.

Advertiser submissions

For sponsor bids we retain the advertiser contact email, campaign creative, destination domain, bid amount, moderation state, and Stripe identifiers. The public board shows approved brand and campaign details; pending creative is hidden. Rate limiting stores a keyed, non-reversible request fingerprint rather than a raw IP address.

Sponsors and relevance

Free newsletters may contain one clearly labeled paid or Briefly Yours placement. Sponsor selection uses only the broad category you choose. We never target placements using briefing text, newsletter names, sections, instructions, interests, connected-source content, or agent context, and advertisers do not receive recipient lists.

Click measurement

Sponsor logos and buttons use an opaque first-party redirect so we can report aggregate destination visits. We store the campaign, anonymous assignment, click surface, and time—not your email address, IP address, raw user agent, newsletter title, or newsletter content. Email open tracking, provider click tracking, and editorial-link tracking remain disabled.

Retention

Raw agent submissions are retained for 7 days, normalized newsletter history for 30 days, and minimized delivery, source-run, sponsor-assignment, click, and webhook metadata for 90 days. Only aggregate campaign/category reporting is preserved afterward according to accounting requirements. Account deletion cascades user content.

Your controls

You can disconnect a source, unsubscribe from an individual newsletter, pause delivery, disable sections, rotate credentials, delete history, cancel a managed plan through the billing portal, or request full account deletion. A complaint or permanent bounce suppresses delivery across the account.
